A well kept property with a very attentive staff. Rooms were luxurious and well appointed. Great complementary breakfast choices to start the day. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We loved the location, the aesthetic, the service, the relaxing and completely accommodating attitude from everyone who worked there. It felt like luxury but far leas forced.

We absolutely loved everything about Villa Mara! The staff was top notch, special shout out to Robert, Joseph and Dev. But truly, with every employee we encountered we were so impressed. The accommodations were beautiful and so well appointed, our every need was met beyond our expectations. This was our first visit to Carmel by the Sea but it won’t be our last. When visiting this beautiful town again, we will only be staying at Villa Mara!!

This place is a hidden gem. Everything was perfection. The service was 1st class. Walking distance to beach and town. Yummy snacks & wine list. Amazing breakfast and coffee. Beautiful bedding. Gorgeous design. Just Perfect.. Can’t wait to come back.

A gorgeous property with the kindest staff. Lots of gorgeous design details and super close to the water in a quiet neighborhood. Walls are a little thin but ear plugs did the trick. We absolutely loved our stay and can't imagine staying anywhere else!

I’m not the first one to say it, but it really was like being in a Nancy Meyers movie. It is a beautiful inn with thoughtful touches and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
