Top Lage nahe am Zentrum. Grosses, ruhiges Zimmer, schön und gut eingerichtet. Personalloses check-in mit Eingang-codes hat gut geklappt, trotz verwirrende mails.

Leider nicht so sauber. Nachttisch verstaubt, Wasserkocher verstaubt, dreckig und mit altem Wasser drin, Spinnweben im Badzimmerfenster, Zahnputzglas und Wand hinter Lavabo dreckig, Badzimmerboden schmutzig (Schuhabdrücke). Die wichtigen Sachen (Bett, WC, Lavabo, Dusche) jedoch gut

Me and my friend stayed and Tavmar Accomodation and found it very dirty and unsafe. The bedroom itself was very grubby. The bed had brown stains on it beside the pillow, the cabinets had coffee stains on and wrappers and dirt bad been left in the drawers. Both the coat rack and the mirror were held on by screws which were falling out of the walls and the coat rack would fall off the wall whenever a coat was placed on it, making it unusable and dangerous. The bay window, with its paint flaking off into an untidied mess on the floor, offered no privacy from the street outside. This street was extremely loud and we were awakened many times by the noise of people yelling, fighting, and loud cars and motorbikes. The bathroom was basically disgusting. My friend was greeted by a fake nail stuck to the soap and another found in the toilet roll holder which was also filled with detritus and had not been cleaned. There was hair around the bathroom and when I dried my face after my shower a long grey hair got caught in my mouth. The shower itself was a large untiled box with abrasive flooring and was not comfortable to use. It is also worth saying that my car was badly damaged during the night and this is important as the hotel is located in a fairly bad part of town and there is no parking for the hotel as the outside parking offers 30 minutes Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm. Behind the hotel is a public, fairly expensive car park which I had been parking in during the day. Because I saw no CCTV there, I moved my car directly in front of the hotel at night and this is where it was damaged. IMPORTANTLY you will also be asked to pay £100 as a ‘security deposit’ before you are given the door code. Fortunately, the form glitched when I filled it in and the code was released before payment had been taken but I kept getting requests to my bank for the payment which I did not respond to thankfully.

I cannot give a proper impression of this hotel because I was not even able to get inside. I booked the hotel only 15 minutes before arrival, paid for two nights, but there was nobody to open the door or let me in. I received no refund either. Very disappointing experience – I would not recommend this hotel.

There is no fan available and only one lamp and one chair was there

Basic property which was clean enough.

When we arrived we received a message advising us that we had been given the wrong code for the front door. We messgaed back asking for the correct code but received no response. We rang and spoke to a gentleman who was far from helpful and was basically arguing with us about the fact that we couldn't gain access to the property. We eventually got in using the correct code and when we left, I messaged again asking for the correct code so that we could get into the property when we returned - no reply. Had to call again and go through the same nonsense to get in. The property is fairly central but there is a large steep hill to negotiate if you want to get to the centre of Lincoln. This is an older property and the walls are very thin and the floorboards creak like mad. There was a couple in the room above us and we could hear everything they were doing - talking, walking around, going to the toilet - and other things. They were awake for most of the night so we didn't get much sleep. All in all, I would avoid staying here and we won't be returning.
