Everyone was very friendly

There are two number 8 Plaza de Molina so it was quite confusing finding the place.

TL;DR 7/10. For the money you pay some of these things have to be improved to make staying the luxury experience that they advertise So I stayed at the Palacio Arc Collection for 5 nights. Overall it was a good experience but for the price you pay some things have to be improved. I write this to inform other travelers and give hotel management some advice to make these improvements for future guests. The good: high end rooms with great design and luxury finishes. I loved the details such as connecting your smartphone to each TV (Netflix, streaming) and their own Spotify playlist is a must listen. Also a big compliment to the housekeeping staff that did an amazing job in cleaning the room daily- including tablets for dishwasher and washing machine- this was very useful.

The bad: problems with the electric lock that persisted during my stay. Over 5(!) times I couldn’t access the room and had to go down to reception to fix this. Also guests should be aware that there is construction going on in the basement. I had no hot water on 3 different occasions and thus couldn’t take a shower. There is a gym which I used but there are construction workers passing through constantly and spa is out of order. And last, I had mixed feelings about the staff. Some front desk colleagues were friendly others very indifferent. This showed f.e. in not giving a proper tour of the room on check in or instructions on AC or devices. Not arranging my taxi to the airport even though this was agreed the day before because “the driver cancelled” then telling me to just hail a cab from the street. When I asked for a coffee while waiting he said they “don’t have that” but I can get one from the supermarket across the hotel. Yeah, that’s not a 5 star guest experience that you can expect at this level.

These are gorgeous, well-appointed apartments on Tirso de Molina, conveniently located next to Metro and a taxi thoroughfare.

The only negative thing I have to say is that our bedroom window opened onto the interior courtyard, which some guests use as a smoking area.

Très bien placé et aménagé avec goût.
