Shore House at The Del, LXR Hotels & Resorts

It is always nice to see Isaac and Jasmine working on the property. Very friendly... Of course the ammenities are superb. We will continue to stay at the Hotel del property for years to come, as we have family ob Coronado Island.

Great hotel and amenities! Beds are wonderful and hotel is easy to get to.

From the start, Isaac was great at the bell stand. Kimberly checked us in efficiently and we got a nice upgrade. The staff at the Shorehouse pool is always amazing. Angelica rocked the cocktails, and made our recent graduate a special KU pina colada. See you next year!

We are 8 time return summer visitors and hotel Del members. Have always loved the Del. Unfortunately we flew here from Dallas and the beaches at Hotel Del are completely un-swimmable and red flagged. Full of sewage from Tijuana. They have been like this for over a year practically every single day. The hotel gave us no warning when we booked and it is a very expensive hotel! They must have known about this and didn’t tell. We come here (fly from Dallas) specifically to swim in the ocean and enjoy the golden sand. Instead we will need to sit at the pool. Mr Hussein, the manager, would not upgrade our room and offered us a small one time credit. That doesn’t make up for the experience of missing an ocean. He claims the rooms are individually owned and if he gives us a second room or a bigger room the hotel will need to pay the owner so he can’t afford the upgrade. Well- it’s very unfortunate that the hotel treats longtime guests and Del Diamond members this way. So disheartened.

We love the golf cart guys and the vallet workers are so friendly and helpful! We love Emi he’s been so awesome! It’s been so easy and convenient to text them when we need a ride!

This is our third year staying at the Shore House. We always have great service but this year Kimberly at the front desk went above and beyond for us in securing a wonderful room upgrade. We really appreciate her efforts and look forward to our next visit!

We were in San Diego to visit friends and to get married on the beach with friends and family. A small intamite gathering. Returned back to the hotel after the ceremony to enjoy the rest of the evening at the bar and patio area. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating.

Dan and his team at the Shore House at the Del were a step above excellence. From the moment we landed in San Diego to the moment we parted ways, Dan made sure we were taken care of. The welcome reception to the property was warm, the cleanliness and vibe of the room was comforting, and the extra mile taken from the staff was incredible. I would strongly recommend this destination to any family looking for a cool spot to vacation, just be prepared to have your expectations of service and friendliness of the staff to be exceeded. Thank you Hotel Del for a memorable trip for my family.

Guest quarters (rooms) are great!!! Bell boys (Jason W/ Nick - really all of them) were absolutely great. Very professional, very helpful, cheerful, friendly, efficient, etc.,etc. ,etc. Our stay was the best. We will return!!!

Wyatt provided a fantastic experience. He always remembers our previous visits and recalls any special wants or needs we might need at the time. Such personalized and caring service is rare. As we depart to check in, he always reminds us if there’s something that we need, come down and ask him and he will make sure it happens. Even in the morning when I walk by to head to the gym or run along the beach, he makes sure he acknowledges me and asks me how my morning is going!
