Embassy Suites By Hilton Bowling Green

The room was fantastic. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby was also very nice and service was friendly. We chose this hotel because of the full breakfast but when we got there it was a madhouse (very loud and overcrowded) and there was a 45 minute wait to have anything made. There was also a used coffee filter in our in room coffee maker. We saw another suites hotel nearby and the Embassy Suites was by far and away much nicer but the breakfast experience definitely put us off. It’s probably best to go when there isn’t a Western Kentucky football game on the schedule.

We stayed here recently while visiting family in Bowling Green. When we discovered the relatively small price difference between the Embassy Suites and other popular properties, it was a no-brainer for us after a very long day. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are well-furnished and super comfortable. The bed was dreamy! The clerk who checked us in could have been more welcoming and informative about breakfast hours.

Propery is beautiful and contemporary (eventhough I missed the tall atrium of Embassy suites I am used to). Tony’s steakhouse was very good. Breakfast as usual was very good. Suites are much smaller than usual for ES. Extremely disappointed with room service. For $300.00/night in a small town, i expected them to make the beds and clean the room. They said we have to request. Requested to do it for through out our stay. They did only one night!!. House keeping came and asked in the morning whether we needed any replenishments. So we had to go through whether we had sugar, coffee, towels etc and request them instead of house keeping doing their job of seeing what needed to be replaced. So every day we came to unkept, uncleaned and unreplenished room. Very disappointed. If it were not for the very good design of the building and the excellent steakhouse, i would have given even lower rating. We are usually ES fans. But not too sure whether I am going to stay in this particular facility.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we were disappointed this time because even though we requested daily housekeeping, our room was not cleaned as asked. For the price and brand, we expected better service.
