"Wonderful Acommodation"

The glamping pod was spacious and very cozily decorated. Everything was tidy and clean. What made this pod special were the various little touches left by our wonderful hostess, Andrea. From personally guiding the way to the glamping pod (Google Maps got confused) to the coffee, tea, hot chocolate, delicious jam and many more things provided, we could not have asked for more. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night, as we had quite a long ways to go still, on our trip around the NC500, but whenever we're back in and around Halkirk we will absolutely be back!

There is only one mirror (in the bathroom). It would have been great to have one closer to one of the outlets for blowdrying, etc, but we made due just fine and this is truly the only thing we were missing :-)

Excellent hospitality. Perfect pod and hot tub. We loved our stay with our puppy Arlo. So peaceful and relaxing, just off the NC500.

"Exceptional"

Everything was great. The pod was super clean and cosy. Views were beautiful. the hot tub was amazing!! The kitchen had everything , towels were soft, bed was super comfortable. Temperature was great once we turned on the fire and stayed warm.

The couch was not the most comfortable.

"A fabulous rural retreat."

Fabulous attention to detail, utterly spotless, spacious and at the same time sumptuous - all this with epic sunsets and friendly highland coos wandering around and snipe whistling through the air - I don't think I even thought about switching on the TV! Excellent hosting and perfect information made this the perfect place to de-stress.
