Achmeney Glamping larger than Average pod

best night ever!! there’s nothing to complain about. hot tub and fire pit are the cherry on top. we enjoyed it so much that we returned for another night up there. made our trip to Scotland extra special - highly recommended!!

Loved the location looking out over the fields, watching the sheep and the clouds on the distant horizon. Very peaceful. The location is easy to find, the hostess was very friendly and helpful. Lots of thoughtful little touches in the pod that enhanced our stay - very much appreciated. Plenty space for two adults, a warm comfy bed, and good sized bathroom with shower.

Seems a small, trivial point, but we didn't like the plastic 'glasses' but that was all - everything else was great, and the pod is kitted out with everything you could need for a relaxing, comfy stay. It still gets a 10/10 from us!

The perfect getaway. Achmeney pod sits 3 miles from Halkirk in a peaceful quiet rural area. The pod is surprisingly bigger than it looks. It comfortably accommodates 2 with a double bedroom, kitchen and living area with its own toilet and shower. The bed was cozy and the pod is well insulated so always nice and warm. On arrival Andrea came and met us and showed us around and how to work the hot tub. ( the hot tub is amazing lol) will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely come back again

Beautiful views

It was bigger than I’d imagined and was furnished to a high standard. the location was really good too - remote but not too remote. lots of privacy and a good view of the hills and animals. complimentary tea, coffee, milk and biscuits too! we run out of logs and were able to buy more from the owners which was handy. highly recommend this pod

The location is stunning. The pod is incredible, it was extremely well looked after and clean and had some coffee and tea waiting for us. The hot tub is also an excellent addition. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. Andrea is lovely and friendly and gave us a few pointers in what to do in the area.

The property was very clean and comfortable. It had lots of appliances and amenities like Wifi and Netflix which made the stay very easy and enjoyable. The hot tub was very relaxing and also came with bonus features like bluetooth for listening to music etc. I appreciated that things like coffee, milk, tea, shortbread etc were provided, it was a nice touch.

Unfortunately I felt that the location was a slight let down. It was nice to be quite secluded but I felt there was a lack of nice views or scenery. I also felt that the price was slightly too high for what was received.
