45 Steps - The Culinary Beachside Inn

Barbara and Thomas have created a wonderful space to rest and relax. They have went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From the beautiful rooms and views to the delicious breakfasts and amazing dinners. We were lucky enough to stay here for 2 nights at the end of our vacation and only wished we could stay longer. If in doubt, the beach really is just 45 Steps away :)

The views and the beach are amazing! Was always alone.

The property is elegant, luxurious and tastefully decorated. The food was exceptional. Service was personal and professional. Listening to the crashing waves and watching the stars from bed was magical. I recommend staying as long as possible.

This was probably one of the best properties we've ever stayed at in all our travels. The property is gorgeous and Barbara and Thomas are such gracious hosts. The oceanview rooms are furnished with such a calm, spa-like flair that you feel relaxed as soon as you enter. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom colours and finishes including rain shower were wonderful and toiletries eco-friendly, which we appreciated. We enjoyed the lovely breakfasts each day with delicious homemade jams, and the 3-course dinners made by Barbara were absolutely superb! We also thought the choice of east coast wines on the menu was a lovely touch too. This place and its beach and views will definitely knock your socks off!

This was a fantastic and relaxing stay. I will definitely try to stay again if I am ever back in PEI. The owners were super friendly and have cultivated such an amazing experience.

I booked, based upon the photos and the availability. Our room was actually a grand suite with spectacular views of the ocean, 2 balconies, views of both sunrise & sunset, grand shower, king-size bed. Hosts Barbara & Thomas are extremely welcoming and social. Breakfast was good European style. Home cooked dinners are also offered at a price and we dined there 2 of 3 nights as nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away. We loved this Inn and certainly plan to return. This is great value.

The location and inn are absolutely breathtaking. It starts with the wow factor as you pull into the driveway and continues through to the warm, heartfelt welcome from the owners Barbara and Thomas. The rooms are beautifully furnished with custom Euro-style pieces. The common areas are incredible (I wish I had these at home) with the spectacular views of the ocean and beach. The 45 steps take you down to a private red sand beach that is as good as any you would drive to in PEI. The excellent meals are lovingly prepared by Barbara and the table is meticulously attended by Thomas. This is definitely the place to go to unwind and reset your cares. I would rate this place an 11!

The 45 Steps Inn is the ideal location for a restful oceanside getaway. The beautiful Inn is steps away from the pristine red cliff coastline, and well away from any traffic noise. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular. The clean rooms are very stylish and modern with many conveniences. The hosts are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge about the area. Each morning they prepare a delicious breakfast served in the bright ocean view dining room.

We were lucky to grab a one-night stay here and it was absolutely amazing! The sunset, the basically private beach and the common areas as well as rooms were top notch. Barbara and Thomas made sure we had anything and everything we could possibly need. What an unforgettable experience.
