Hare Cottage

Cleanliness, well appointed, close to the town for restaurants etc but also quiet. Parking on site is also a bonus.

There was no teapot! Also the taps took a bit of getting used to.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hare cottage. We loved the welcome pack left by the hosts, as well as all the thoughtful touches throughout the property. It is cosy and homely but has everything you could possibly need. The hosts were extremely responsive and the location is perfect for exploring Abergavenny and the surrounding areas such as the Brecon Beacons. The views of the mountain from the back garden and upstairs bedroom were stunning. We will definitely be coming back to stay here as there’s so much in the area we didn’t get a chance to see. We can’t recommend Hare Cottage enough!

Lovely property, felt very homely. Close to shops and restaurants, parking at the back very convenient. Great host looked after small details like milk in the fridge!

Nice quiet location but an easy walk to the town centre where there was a great choice of restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Location great. Well equipped and extras too. Nice paved area at rear and parking. Second stay here. Very good pub 5 minutes walk.

Stairs dodgy if you have mobility problems. Everything else was fine.

Very clean well presented cottage. Very near to town centre (4mins walk)

The only thing we found very annoying was the floor boards upstairs. You couldn't walk over them without them creaking. Very disturbing if you had to get up during the night to use the downstairs toilet. I am pleased to say that was the onlynthing we found fault with.
