Very comfortable. Quiet. Great location for town and local walks. Good parking availability. Really nice to find tea, coffee and bathroom products in situ.

Beautiful little cottage. Very central location. Quiet. Good shower. Very clean and all the facilities one needs.

A little on the expensive side.

Fantastic location, clean and great views out of the back bedroom. Really close to the Linda Vista gardens which were a lovely place to be in the sunshine.

The staircase was steep and a bit awkward for my elderly parents which in hindsight may have affected our decision to stay here.

Great communication from the owner. A lovely cottage 4 mins away from the town center

Excellent location. Parking to rear is very good as there is definitely a parking war going on out the front of the house!. Very good shower. Kitchen was well stocked and arrival gifts were welcome. Communication with the host was very good. Lots of storage space in the main bedroom. Easy opening windows & blinds.

The general cleanliness of the property was poor. The furniture & fittings look tired (including. Rugs & cushions). There is limited kitchen work space. Occasionally there was an unpleasant odour from the utility room which also smells damp. we had to keep the door closed. there was no where to place the different coloured refuge / recycling sacks. There are no coat hooks (other than those in the damp utility room). There is a slight ant infestation in and around the sitting room. The property did not feel clean....there were coffee stains for example beside the microwave. The edges of the bath look dirty near the floor. There was dog poo in the middle of the garden near the house. We didn't sit outside, despite the hot temperatures as the garden & the seating area are definitely not inviting! We did not think this property was good value for money. The DOUBLE bed is inadequate for two average sized adults and is also quite uncomfortable. The towels are of very poor quality and do not 'cover' an average size body! One or two chairs in the main bedroom would've been welcome.

The location was brilliant, excellent communications too and all very comfortable. Loved the off street parking too.

My only gripe would be the double mattress. I’m sure it was very comfortable once but has now seen better days, there were some obvious dips in and therefore pretty uncomfortable to sleep on.

Had a long weekend in AG and was looking for a great base in town, had suitable facilities, was clean, felt comfortable and well equipped. Hare cottage ticked all of these boxes and some. If we stay in the area again, we would definitely return here.

a beautiful property in a ideal location. 5 minute walk to the centre of Abervergenny. lots of bars and coffee shops and fabulous restaurants. It is Immaculately presented. thank you for a wonderful stay.

just to be aware of steep staircase and bathroom downstairs. this is not a criticism just to make people aware if have mobility issues.
