The sofa bed in our room wasn’t made which was for our grandson. I had to go to reception twice for it to be made.

The room was lovely, the bar was really nice. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. I was attending an event at Leicester Tigers so location was ideal!

Lack of parking. There are limited spaces on site and reservation needed so it is a faff going to the hotel, dropping luggage , then driving again to find the car park which was a little walk from the hotel.

First time staying at the Voco and we were impressed. A smart modern hotel, tastefully decorated, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is central and convenient for the city. The bed was comfortable and fridge in the room very useful. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. We also found the price good value for money.

Offensive, rude male member of staff- the manager handled the situation badly, and it ruined my stay. Highly unprofessional. Ripped linen and pillow case. Bathroom flooded to the extent I had to soak up the excess water with pillows and had no spare towels. Blocked sink. No coffee machine as advertised. Crumbs and food remnants over the carpet and a poo smear in the toilet. I have stayed here several times before when it was under a different name and had a beautiful stay. The reviews stating that the bedrooms are spotless etc are not an accurate representation of the state of the room I was given. The shower door was mould ridden and the bathroom was swimming in water all night due to no one answering the phone. Dreadful stay and disgusting intimidating behaviour from the male member of staff who laughed at my distess.

Location was good. Room was good size

Parking was a nightmare. On the website it stated enough parking and for that reason we booked this hotel. When we got to the hotel, we were told we had to book for parking and there was a charge. We were told to park in a multi storey car park but clear instructions were not given how to get there. We paid £13.50 for overnight parking. Total cost of the hotel and parking added to nearly £100.

Friendly and helpful receptionists. Room was clean. Hotel is located in the city center and is well connected via public transportation.
