Seto Ghar Hotel

Hotel agréable au coeur de Thamel. La chambre est bien équipée et est très confortable. Le personnel est très attentif et réactif. Le jardin intérieur est agréable.

Le bruit des boites de nuit environnantes certains soir. Difficile à améliorer mais cela nuit considérablement a confort. La circulation dans la rue d'accès est parfois assez dangereuse pour les piétons. Faire très attention.

This is a colonial feel hotel. Perfectly located in the tourist area of Thamel. The hotel were very accommodating during our stay assisting with taxi bookings, early check in and luggage storage whilst away travelling to other areas. The hotel provided us with a breakfast pack up when we had an early start.

The hotel had everything we could possibly need

A grand property, set back from the street, removed from the noise…with a Buddhist meditation centre and Ayurvedic yoga? Yes please! Good gym, courtyard, bar, food…lovely spot to stay for a few days.

Best location in and around Thamel. Palace renovated as a boutique property. Fabulous housekeeping ethic. Great Nepali food. The gym could do with upkeep but glad they had one. Super safe for solo travellers. Very attentive staff.

The room was not only beautifully furnished but also functional and cozy. The hotel is well located in Thamel area and has on-site parking within its compound, making it convenient for car/taxi drop-off and pick-up without obstructing the busy, narrow street. Check-in and check-out were efficient.

My room was above the restaurant and at times there was some smoke which seemed to come from the fireplace (not the kitchen smoke). Also, although not the hotel's fault, there was some loud nighttime noise from a nearby site during my stay.

Management, Staff, Facilities, Location all outstanding and exceeded expectations. A little oasis of peace amongst the chaos of Kathmandu. Beautiful old building that was once a Royal Residence. The owner/manager oversees the operation of the hotel with passion & pride. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for it's service and facilities. The variety of food available all day is exceptional.

Nothing about this Hotel was disappointing.

Les habitacions eren grans i molt còmodes. El jardí interior és perfecte per esmorzar o sopar. Bon restaurant. Bany gran i equipat. Decoració molt agradable. Personal molt amable. Situació perfecta.
