"Perfect nights stay for weary legs"

It felt so friendly. Right on the South Downs way, 5 minute taxi journey from a pub for an evening meal. Great continental style breakfast with plenty of choice. Room was clean and spacious, great shower. Would stay again

breakfast was good and location was lovely .. carrot cake from cafe was excellent. Great shower. Lady in Garden Kitchen was lovely. Bike storage was excellent.

bed hard. no microwave or access to meals after 4pm

Great location and clean comfortable rooms. Lovely setting and friendly staff.

A shame the lodge couldn't offer picnic sandwiches for walkers to take on their walks.

"Amazing night stay for our family of four on our walk along the SDW. Would definitely come again."

Amazing location with natural surroundings. It is ideal for people cycling or walking the South Downs way as it is on the SDW. Basic but comfortable accommodation. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious common area.

Nothing really to not like.
