Aggressive manager, not meeting their contract liabilities by supplying a room half the size of the one booked This was a hotel for 18 to 30 you would need to be a mountain sheep to cope with the unsafe steps and very young to cope with a toilet and shower open to the tiny bedroom.

The location was beautiful with a Amazing view on the sea and Alanya and the staff was very friendly!

Breakfast was the same every day but it was really yummy so we didn’t mind!

The hotel is situated on the hillside on the way to the castle (very, very steep) & has a nice view from SOME rooms. It has a swimming pool (no towels) and area to drink or eat breakfast with view over the bay of Alanya. Nice breakfast with eggs.

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants with a lot of loud music/noise! The rooms are not really soundproof! We had booked a room with view & they gave a room on the level below the swimming pool; in these rooms, you have NO view & very bad wifi! No towels at the swimming pool, when we requested them, the first set we received, was not clean & we had to ask again. Wifi works near the swimming room but not in the room! There is no parking (although indicated), but you can park closeby on the street. The way back to the port is very steep via steps, which are very clunky & no lights at all in the evening. This was the one of the most expensive hotel we had booked during our stay in Turkey and price/quality absolutely not in line! The shower was broken, the plumber came but it took hours (they said an hour & when we came 3 hours later, still not fixed). We had booked for 3 nights & left after 2 nights; when I informed the owner of this, he was very agressive & didn't listen to what we said. Also no one helped us bringing the luggage back to the car (a lot of steps up!). On top, they took twice the amount of the rooms (once when we arrived & once when we left); they reimbursed after weeks of mails back & forward.

The location is fabulous with stunning views of the coast. We were able to check in to our room early and were provided with complimentary drinks on arrival.

The owner/manager was slightly off hand upon our arrival, however, we were able to check into our room early and offered complimentary drinks so were willing to let this slide. After unpacking, we spent the day at the castle. Upon our return we had drinks at the pool and then returned to our room to get ready for a dinner reservation. There was no hot water which we raised with the owner, he and another guy tried to fix the problem but were unable to do so and called in an engineer, worryingly when they tried to fix the problem all of the electrics shorted out, on occasion the lights flickered which gave us some concern about the safety of the electrical wiring. The lack of hot water in itself was not insurmountable, what was really concerning was the owner’s reaction, he was aggressive when speaking to us and as two female travellers this made us feel vulnerable. Ultimately, and because of his aggressiveness we decided to leave. a colleague of the owner’s insisted we pay which we felt we had little choice but to do. in 30 years of travelling I have never checked out of a hotel before staying and I have stayed in some pretty basic places. the lack of customer service at this hotel and the owner’s approach to us was worrying and I have raised it with booking.com. in addition, for a cost of 137 euros per night I would expect to have a safe with a lock and some basic toiletries
