"We loved our stay the location was wonderful. However this place is NOT pet friendly."

Breakfast was great really great in fact. Location was exceptional. Views were EPIC Room was nice but it wasn't huge to say the least It's a bit dated but i kind of adds to the charm Special mention to Rob & his Girlfriend who offered to look after our Dog at their home in Coniston. We couldn't have put Henry in the stable alone.

What we didn't like was the fact that it's not Pet Friendly at all. Family pets are expected to sleep in a kennel in an out building it's a stable i guess. They are not allowed inside the building at any time night or day. This isn't Pet Friendly & it should disappear from your available location options once Pet Friendly is optioned on Booking.Com website.

Lovely location, right on the lake and stunning views from our window. Very cute and comfortable little place. Great breakfast, very kind, helpful and accommodating staff.

"Beautiful family stay in a stunning location"

Beautiful & quaint property with a very scenic setting. Traditional decor and feel but very clean and fresh. The staff and in particular the owner were very friendly and helpful and understandable when we had a difficult situation on the way and waited for us to arrive late at night. The standard of the food was excellent and well presented. The size of breakfast which was included in the stay had great choice.

Everything! beautiful, perfect location near some of the best walks in the district, and the B&B was wonderful - top hospitality, food, room comfort.

beautiful setting, very helpful staff

overpriced menu with only one vegetarian option, which consisted of pasta, tomato sauce and onions! we were both taking part in a long swim event the next morning and struggled to eat enough food to sustain us, especially as we were leaving too early for breakfast and they couldn’t leave anything out for us to take with us
