Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This hotel is worth every penny. The rooms are spacious, modern and ultra quiet. When coming to Halifax, with the free breakfast, the Price beats staying downtown because it is only a short Uber ride into downtown Halifax. The hotel staff is some of the best I’ve experienced around the globe. The cleanliness of the pool and gym are beyond reproach. The relaxing atmosphere makes this hotel like coming “home” after a day of sightseeing and activities. I wish they had more hotels like this around the globe. Finally, the staff goes the extra mile to make sure that you are satisfied, this comes from the ethos of the general manager, Mrs. Bautista -who you can tell cares about every single guest. This was one of the most lovely experiences in a hotel that I’ve had in over 30 of traveling. - ST

Very good breakfast had good selection

Hotel was wonderful, being the iconic landmark for the city. The breakfast lounge was exceptionally nice with helpful workers like "Ric" to not only make the stay comfortable but extremely accommodating.

Location is good, breakfast was good, bed is comfortable.

The woman who checked us in and out was unpleasant. There was mildew or mildew stains on the sheets and on 2 of the pillow cases.

We recently stayed at the Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre for a vacation and it exceeded my expectations. The property was spotless and the staff absolutely amazing. One of the highlights of the stay was the complementary breakfast buffet on the 16th floor. Rick and his staff made sure we had plenty of selections every morning. It was a full breakfast buffet. Not only was the food selection fantastic and high-quality, but the windows offer an incredible view of the area that makes for a perfect morning atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, quiet and spotless and the location in Bayer's Lake was very convenient for shopping and dining. Another highlight of the stay was the front desk experience. Princess welcomed us with a smile and made us feel so welcome. I had a few requests for our stay. Princess made sure that the items we asked for were in the room when we arrived. It was incredible service. Each morning the staff would greet us with a smile and a "good morning." Any interaction that we had with the front desk staff was absolutely great! The cleaning stuff were also phenomenal. Our room was spotless, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our week-long stay. This was our first trip to Halifax and it definitely won't be our last. Any future stays in Halifax will definitely be at the Halifax Hotel and Conference Center!

This is my fifth stay at this hotel, and every time I visit, I’m impressed by the incredibly friendly staff and the clean, spacious rooms. The swimming pool, the warm hot tub, and the breakfast area with a beautiful city view make the experience even more special. It’s definitely worth it. I would love to come back and stay at this hotel again next time!

This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Halifax. The staff are exceptional! The breakfast choices are vast and delicious and the panoramic view from the dining room is stunning! Our room was spacious and luxurious— love the corner rooms! The pool and hot tub are so relaxing especially at 10pm! And I love that multi beverage coffee machine in the lobby! Stephanie, Nimfa, Princess, CJ, and Ric and the rest of the staff at the Tower are an incredible team! I’m thankful for their service, their attentiveness to guests needs and their incredible hospitality! I can’t wait to come back!
