We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Bali. The space and ambience were absolutely perfect — spacious, serene, and thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. It felt like a private sanctuary, ideal for relaxing and soaking in the Bali vibes. The layout was open and airy, and we especially loved the elegant decor and tranquil atmosphere. It’s a great spot for couples, families, or groups looking to unwind in comfort and style.

While the sunken lounge area is stunning and a beautiful design feature, we did have a minor mishap where one of us bumped our head on the hard concrete tiles. It might be something to keep in mind, particularly for guests with small children. Also the stairs without a handrail could be problematic with small children. Overall, we absolutely loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. With just a few small additions, it would be close to perfect. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful space with us!

The villa is absolutely stunning with its sheek decor. We loved lounging around the pool and relaxing in the sunken lounge and wished we could have stayed longer.

The property itself was lovely, the house was lovely, a little remote from food and such.

There were MAJOR water problems. Minimal water in the upper floors the first night and then there was none. Although the management sent a service person promptly, who declared it was fixed after working on the system for 5 hours, it wasn’t fixed. So another night without showers upstairs and then the toilets ran out of water. We then decided to cut our stay short and find other accommodation. To managements credit they did give us a 1 night credit on our stay, so I was grateful for that. That staff that work on the property are very kind and accommodating so I felt terrible for them, everyone treasures their job in Bali. The water issue needs to be assessed before anyone stays there again.

Casa Philip is absolutely beautiful. Loved the wood work around the house. Very aesthetic and spacious. We ordered takeout food so we can lounge around the house and enjoyed the beautiful pool.

We loved this property it was modern and clean with great facilities. Bian the villa host was amazing! He helped with any inquiries that we had. We travelled with 3 young kids 5,4 and 2 and Bian helped to organise a pool fence and porter cot. I was able to message Bian on WhatsApp prior to our stay. Very accomodating. The pool was amazing for the kids and we loved sitting in the outdoor area. The villa was off the main strip although we hired scooters and was only 5 mins to all the beautiful beaches, food and shopping. We also order food and anything we needed from Gojek (app) to be delivered. Bian also helped organise people to come give us a massage at our accomodation which was super cheap and easy. Such a great service and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only thing was the stairs for a 2 year old didn’t have a barrier. We just made sure he didn’t climb up on his own. Other than that everything was perfect.

The location is fantastic—tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, yet close enough to catch a Grab and be less than 10 minutes away from key spots. The private pool was a lovely feature, and the property offers multiple rooms, making it a great choice for large groups or families. The modern look of the place was appealing, and Bian was excellent in responding to our messages quickly, which made the stay more convenient and stress-free.

However, there were a few aspects we couldn't overlook. The pool was quite cold since it’s in the shade for most of the day. While a cleaning lady did come every day, we weren’t entirely sure what her duties included. She collected the trash and made the beds, but that seemed to be the extent of it. During our 4-night stay, I requested a change of towels on the second night, which turned out to be more challenging than expected. The cleaning lady took our towels and had to “wait for delivery,” which took hours, and the pool towels were never changed. Additionally, there were no hand towels, and the towels provided for dish use were a bit worn, prompting us to buy some paper towels. The showers, while modernized, had some issues. The rain shower heads sprayed water in all directions, and one of the drains would clog, causing water to overflow into the adjoining sink area due to the lack of a door or lip. Also, if having a drip coffee maker is important to you, be aware that there isn’t one available at this location. We did have a few more cons, but those were more about personal preferences and what we would change. Overall, while there were some inconveniences, the property has a lot of potential with a few adjustments.

Beautiful property. White, timber trims, tiled floor, lovely sunken couch area. Spacious rooms. Location was close to Ulluwatu main strip. for meals and supermarket. Very clean. Bian arranged cots for the children.

Great villa but a challenge with two toddlers. Not the property fault at all. Just be aware. No balustrade on the staircase. No pool fence, Sunken lounge with hard tile surrounds. We had very little cleaning products, but this was explained later that they would do it. We felt guilty. We needed hand towels and tea towels as there weren't any. Pool was quite cold as it is in the shade all day. Maintenance man was on hand which was good when the sliding door lock was not working but lacked privacy when we were in the pool and they frequently walked through the front yard to their accommodation.

The large space and rooms

They didn’t have the appropriate essentials and ammenities to be able to live in the house. We were welcomed with no paper towels, tea towels, insect repellant and only one towel to use and bed sheets only changed every 3 days. When you do try to get into contact with the host, your waiting hours for a response from the owner to see if your request can be actioned.
