The Remote Hotel

We had a lovely peaceful stay at the remote hotel for 4 days. The architecture of the building and rooms are 5 stars with a beautiful backdrop of forest and mountains. The staff are attentive and friendly and the beach is only a 5 min drive away. The only issue we had during our stay was that the Turkish bath wasn't working however the sauna was a nice alternative.

Staff ok more training needed. Also if you think the hotel is remote it isn't it's just at the back of Sarigerme. We paid a fortune for an adequate experience!!

Remote, yes, idyllic yes (if you can turn off the building work on 3 sides). Jet 2 nowhere to be seen. We hired a car so didn’t see a single sole from Jet2. I looks like mummy and has put a load of cash for her son to have a hotel. With zero experience. Breakfast is terrible, I fact it got worse and worse with less and less choice, anything other than terrible coffee chargeable. Thank god it was only 5 nights. Aircon didn’t work for 2 days with the excuse being it a a boutique hotel. Same excuse for not making up the rooms and mini bar being empty. Reception looks like a 16 year olds bedroom. Said owner just walks around with arms folded probably wondering what’s going on The surrounds are a total dump with steel work starting at 8.30 so for concrete pouring every day. Not as pictured. Jet2 had it down for a gym, it’s on all the signs but just had an office in it, it seems to have been removed from the website now too. Staff sweet but look and behave like they have just left school. No bill at any point just cash cash cash. Rooms good, but way too many things wrong, fitting shower gel dispensers when you are in the room ? Make sure you hire a car else your knackered. We ate lunch and that was a redeeming feature however had to get out the place on the evening.

The hotel is in dire need of maintenance. The flash broke twice while we were staying. The air con keep playing up and had to call them couple of times. It is in a very remote location and you need a taxi to go everywhere. Even the beach is 30 mins walk away. This should have been clarified on the description.

The Remote Hotel My husband and I stayed in this gem of a hotel for 6 nights to celebrate our 20th Wedding anniversary. It is boutique style and only has 13 rooms so very small and we received a very personal service from all the staff. When you check in, you receive a WhatsApp link that you can use to communicate any issues with the team. We chose a forest facing room so that we didn’t get any noise from the pool area and this was perfect. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and styled beautifully. We had a 4 poster bed which was very comfy. The room was cleaned everyday and two bottles of water replaced. There were also some cans of soft drinks in the fridge which are chargeable. We had a small issue with our shower on the first day which was dealt with straight away. Breakfast is a traditional Turkish breakfast each morning which consists of 3 different cheeses, egg, tomato, peppers, salad, fresh rolls, Turkish flatbread and a selection of preserves and honey. There is a choice of Turkish black tea or coffee. It was always beautiful and very tasty. We ate dinner in the hotel most evenings and the food was always top notch. There is a good choice of salads, bruschetta, Turkish mains, pasta dishes, salmon, Chinese chicken, schnitzel, burgers and 3 desserts which were brownie, pavlova and watermelon. The typically Turkish food is amazing, freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a small 25m pool where you are provided with pool towels and there are plenty of sunbeds available. The pool isn’t heated but doesn’t need to be as it was very warm and is a great way to get some exercise in. There is a hamman, sauna and spa as well as personalised yoga but we didn’t try these, preferring to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. The hotel itself is around 20 minutes from Dalaman airport, nestled in the valley of a forest although there are a few private residences close by. A walk into Sarigerme itself takes around 20 minutes although for about half of this walk, there are no pavements and the roads are pretty narrow so I wouldn’t want to do this walk in the dark. Taxis are plentiful if you prefer those. This is a very quiet and peaceful country hotel which is exactly what we wanted.

Interior design was nice

Invoice requested at check-in. At checkout not ready. We were asked to wait for the invoice for more than half an hour and even then it wasn't properly issued. Will be avoided in future despite its nice design.

The design is fabulous, with rooms with high ceilings and comfy beds. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere is perfect for doing nothing for a couple of days, and the SPA lady was good. Keep in mind there is no territory, just the building. If you want to go to the village, it's a 25 min walk

Staff needs an extended training. Everyone is nice and friendly, but they seem to have no idea what they are doing and why. It looks like the family inherited this hotel and knows nothing about this type of business. The restaurant was also a disappointment. The burger did not have sauce or even a piece of any vegetable. The pasta with shrimp consisted of fried pasta and shrimp—no sauce, no other ingredients, nothing.

Just like the pictures, clean, lovely bedrooms, small amount of rooms so lovely and quiet along with the relaxing music playing throughout the day.

Staff were absolutely lovely but rather slow.
