Great boutique hotel about 1.5 miles from union station and 0.3 miles from Union Market. As such it’s not in the “heart” of downtown DC but close to the Metro. Love the roof top bar. Great value for the price.

The hotel rooms were great. I went with my family. The kids enjoyed the private bunk areas. Food was great at both bunch and roof top bar. Service was great.

The warm reception by staff at the reception, especially, Ronnie* and Randa* (not sure I got the spelling right). They were kind, respectful and very helpful. The roof had great ambience and the complimentary drink was great.

Minimalist, sleek, and clean rooms in an upscale and minimalist setting. Delicious cucumber water in the lobby. Tons of shops (including a Trader Joe's) next to the hotel and on the way to/from the Metro. There was a nasty bug in my bathroom randomly; they offered me a new room which was nice but I requested they just come nab the lil millipede and someone came in like 5 minutes and swept it up. Lovely!

Not the easiest to get to from the metro; a bit of a walk if you're not driving there. Otherwise they seem to have good parking.
