Hotel Nell - Union Market

The amenities are nice overall, the only issue is that the room is tiny- by far the smallest room I've ever stayed in. If you have that expectation and are OK with it, this is a nice place to stay and is inexpensive and in a good location for what I needed. The front office staff was very pleasant

The room is tiny. I needed to work in my hotel room, which meant I had to work in the bed, which is not good. Also to note- I ate 2 meals at the restaurant while I was there- the food was fine but the service was incredibly slow which ruins the benefit of eating where you stay, as convenience is a big part of that benefit

Nice property

This hotel was perfect for a quick night stay. We stayed here just passing through DC for the night. The hotel walls were super thin so you can hear everything going on in the room next door. Cleanliness was okay. Towels were old and ripped. The staff was extremely nice and friendly.

I love the eclectic touches everywhere, the lobby, the restaurant/bar, the rooms. Exquisite and unique. I'll be back!

Friendly staff

The parking situation was a too difficult and too much of a hassle. I was told there was parking next door so I went but when I got there I had to find out that there was limited parking and the rest was for the apartment residents.
