Brook Cottage Green - 2 Bedroom - Dale

Beautiful location right near the beach. Great views from upstairs bay window. Good location for walking.

Beds a bit uncomfortable for our liking. Needed a car to get to shops for supplies. No welcome pack or up-to-date information available.

View was amazing

No curtains in rear sitting area or kitchen/dining area no privacy at all

Sea views from the upstairs bay window were exceptional.

Parts of the stair handrail were very dirty. This could have been easily cleaned but was dirt from a build up of weeks/months (not just the previous guests).

It would have been helpful to have a note left about the slight damage to the flat. Very minor.

Great location. I loved hearing the waves as you drifted off to sleep Comfortable cottage. Good size fridge, a few teabags, coffee sachets, and sugar provided, but nothing else, which is unusual. Useful directions were sent to help find the cottage. WiFi worked well.

Parking was a challenge as all cottages booked out, and with 2 cars in 2 of them, we ended up paying for parking in the public carpark. Bedrooms are really very warm, even with the window open!

It's a beautiful, large apartment, with a nice view. Great location, quiet, but walking distance from restaurants/bars.

A bit short on essentials (no salt, oil, sponge to clean dishes etc.). The parking was crammed at times (but public parking is few steps away).

We loved the modernisation of Brook Cottage Green, choice of furniture and fittings were to our taste. The planning and layout worked very well for us , my husband ,daughter and myself . We enjoyed the space and views to the bay and beyond were stunning.

Perhaps the back garden could have a division. Holiday makers nextdoor had two dogs wandering back and forth barking when they saw us. The step down from the main living area to the internal balcony needs to be highlighted to bring it to your attention and also to the double bedroom- easy to forget about the change in level. Maybe a bit of frosted glass in the lower bathroom window would be good. Better soundproofing on the old connecting doors particularly in the single bedded room .

Parking was quite awkward to get into and took a bit of thought about where to park to avoid blocking others - I think it would have been hard if all four cottages had been occupied at the same time

Position excellent and peaceful. Very clean and almost everything we could need.

Single beds had cheap mattresses which you could feel the springs through. Also rather creaky - possibly the slats. Kitchen scissors and serving tongs would be useful to have. Slight smell of drains in bathroom after a couple of days so put plug in the bath which helped. Shower head doesn't hold up - so put sponge under to hold in place.
