Hilton Garden Inn St Augustine-Historic District

The Hotel was well taken care of - clean rooms, comfortable beds. The hotel has an issue with the TVs in the rooms - I had to move heavy furniture to get to the outlet that the TV was plugged into, unplug it, and re plug it to get the TV to work (This is a common occurance, I received the unplug/replug instructions from the front desk). The shower floor in our room was dangerously slippery, and the rooms should be provided with bath mats. I was really disappointed with the quality of the food at breakfast - we did the buffet one day, and everything was cold, and the breakfast items that we ordered from the menu the following days was not much better. As a lifetime Diamond Level member, I am disappointed that breakfasts for Hilton Honors members are not free, like they used to be. The Hotel bar was terrific, our bartender Paula was great.

Location was fine. No breakfast included. $20 parking even though lot mostly empty. We are not talking about a busy area of town. Seems excessive. They need to work on cleaning more. Front desk staff was nice.

Rooms were clean and updated but nothing special property is 1.3 miles from downtown ST. Augustine so that is very convenient.

Room was clean and quiet. Staff was nice.

Bed was too firm, the sheets were starting to pill and the pillows weren't fluffy.

It was an easy walk to the historic center. The hotel was very clean and the room was nice.

I think charging for parking is ridiculous. The hotel had it's own lot.

Very nice hotel. Good location and quick access to fort and shopping area. Front staff very friendly. Rooms very clean and beds and pillows were super comfy. Firm mattress with some padding. A few disappointing features were that there was no face soap or shower cap in the bathroom. Also, the smell throughout the hotel was sickening to me. I’m sure it was pumped in, but to me it smelled like bug spray.. Same smell with the shower gel and conditioner. Also, should have a grab bar in the shower. Overall, very nice hotel.

Everything! It was beautiful, well kept, the staff was very friendly!

I can't say that there was anything I didn't like about the property! Thank you for taking such good care of it!
