Great location! Employees are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well maintained. The room was clean and spacious. I only wish it offered complementary breakfast.

"Buen cuarto, mal desayuno, caro parqueo"

5.0

"Clean & friendly hotel"

Nice hotel - close to everything we needed. I understand paying to valet - nightly fee to self-park is not appreciated.

"An historical city with lots to see for travelers"

8.0

My wife and I spent two days sightseeing in St. Augustine. Although I grew up in southwest Florida, and was familiar with Florida history, i still Iearned alot. The "nations's oldest city" originally "discovered" by the Spanish explorer, Juan Ponce deLeon in the 1500s, has a long and violent history that is recounted by the trolley drivers and carriage drivers on any local tour. We took the Hop On - Hop Off Trolley and experienced various drivers as we explored the oldest city. Each driver gave their own perspective as they talked about the numerous historical events. Some drivers were more entertaining than others. My wife and I also took a 45 minute carriage tour of the old town area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and especially entertaining. She gave a more in depth history of the city, from the explorers of the 1500s throughthe halcyon days of the late 1800s and early 1900s, to the Civil Rights turbulence of the 1960s. If you can afford the $110+ for the carriage tour , I highly recommend it. Do not give up the Trolley, though. The carriage ride covers a smaller area of the city and is non-stop, except for a brief rest stop for the horse. The trolley covers the entirety of the historical district and, at $30 per person for the whole day, it is a reliable means of transportation as well as an entertaining tour of the city. If you are driving to the historical district, there is parking available (for a fee) at the parking garage. Ample parking is availablethere before 10am. After that, it could be an issue. There is extremely limited parking (usually for a fee) available elsewhere. There are numerous paid attractions available, however, we found that for the first day or so, the trolley and carriage tours provided ample entertainment. I might consider some of the attractions if I was staying longer, or for a second trip. I would not hesitate to go back again.

"Great Experience here!"

10.0

So glad I chose this hotel to visit St Augustine. It was in a perfect location and only a 20 minute walk to downtown St Augustine. You are right across from the Fountain of Youth and a block from the trolley station. This hotel was very clean and modern. The grounds were kept up, the lobby was spacious with lots of cozy seating, and this hotel had a bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with shelves in the bathroom to place your things, shelves and drawers across from the bathroom to store your clothes. There was even a shoe shelf in the main room. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Lots of lighting. Big tv but the remote was pretty clunky and due to the windy rainy days, some of the channels had poor audio. There was a microwave, fridge and Kuerig coffee machine that all functioned well. The staff at this hotel were phenomenal! The front deck was kind and helpful. The bartenders were fun and enjoyable to chat with. The housekeepers were very sweet. It was too cold to swim so we did not use the pool but would have if we had a sunny day. Pros: Great staff, clean rooms, spacious, the cheese board at the Restuarant is delicious! Angie at the front desk was super. Jennifer at the bar was the best! Cons: the coffee provided every morning in the lobby was very very weak. Just terrible. I even switched to hot tea because the coffee was that bad.
