Casa Naila Hotel Boutique

The hotel was good and staff was friendly and helpful. The location was a bit outside of the main area with attractions in a part of town with crumbling buildings. To make up for distance disadvantage, the hotel offered free taxi within a certain radius. We never used the service as it appeared cumbersome to arrange. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast apart from the thin coffee was great. The room was quiet but small.

I will improve breakfast coffe and meals. Also the bar service need improvement. More options, improve quality of meals and quality in drinks.

The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and supportive. We had had a bad Airbnb experience and they immediately showed us a number of rooms, allowed us to pick the best one for us out and sent a driver for all of our things. The beds were very comfortable, great showers, sweet turn down with sweets, yummy breakfast as well. We felt like part of a family in a positive way while being there, a very special crew and place😊 the location is perfect as it is close to everything but a quiet street.

This is a fantastic boutique hotel. The staff is extremely attentive and helps out with whatever is needed. Free transportation around town is a great bonus. Rooms are very comfortable, combining a Oaxacan charm with perfectly-situated amenities. Location is great too. Within walking distance of town center while being in a neighborhood just away from tourists. Feels very safe. Walked home at night many times. Rarely have I encountered such a wonderful set-up where I felt both at home and taken care of. Thanks to wonderful staff. Will be back.

The room was stunning—beautifully designed, equipped with high-tech amenities, and stocked with top-quality toiletries. What truly sets this place apart is the service. The staff deserves a million stars! They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is unforgettable, offering excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. My wife and I are already planning our next trip to Oaxaca, and there’s no question—we’ll be rebooking with Casa Naila. Highly recommended!

The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, including helping me out finding emergency dental treatment (and driving me to it). The location was great; a couple of blocks out from the centre of Oaxaca which made it a little quieter from road traffic. The room was lovely and modern and the roof terrace was cute - also the barman made the best mezcalitas we tasted in Mexico!

Very little, the room was a little noisy at times because the style of all the hotels in Oaxaca is rooms set around a central courtyard and ours was near the reception. I would encourage the hotel to replace the window in the bathroom with an extractor fan to limit the need to open the window and resulting noise.
