Flemings Yard - Fantastic Town House in Anstruther

Location was central. It was tricky getting out on to main road due to parked vehicles which blocked view of on coming traffic.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. Well maintained and well kept property. Two sets of stairs which are narrow and could be difficult to negotiate if you have mobility issues.

Well presented and maintained properly. Great situation. Very nice property. Well equipped with lovely finishes.

Both shower rooms were on the ground floor, the second bedroom was on the third floor . I thought the rooms were both en suites as I have stayed in this courtyard before, and that property had en suite from loft bedroom.

Beautifully presented property, modern and clean with all equipment you would need. Good location, close to harbour and shops.

Stairs are quite steep. top floor room has to descend 2 flights for toilet.

No where in description of this rental does it say that the second bedroom is on the 3rd level and the bathroom is on the ground floor along with main bedroom and ensuite. Kitchen and living is on the 2nd floor. To access these areas you have very narrow winding staircases. This does not work for a lot of people and we found it very dangerous for us. We would never have booked this apartment if we were aware of this. Nightmare 2 nights for us.

The two bathrooms are on the ground floor so only en suite for one bedroom. There are steep stairs to first floor living room and kitchen and another steep stairs to second bedroom. It was not possible for older customers to easily carry large suitcase up two flights of stairs and access from top bedroom to toilet on ground floor difficult at night. Also entering private car park was precarious in avoiding bins on right side of entrance.. Very easy to scrape left side tyres and to avoid sharp damaged kerb.. The obvious repeated damage to the kerb which left sharp edge had clearly been there and deteriorating for years, confirmed by other Flemings Yard resident. My tyres on passenger side were scraped and damaged. It seems that local residents are not taking responsibility to repair this.
