About a 4 minute walk to nishiki market. Which was very convenient. Easy access to bus stops Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The complimentary crackers and tea is a nice touch and the food at the restaurant is good.

I stayed a week at Hotel Rings in a standard double room and pleased I selected that hotel in Kyoto, as it was modern, clean, great size and friendly staff. The room was a great size, bigger than I expected (for Japanese standards) with small seating area and wonderful lighting being a corner room with two windows. The staff were very friendly, with two young gentlemen being exceptional helpful and spoke great English. It was approx 10 minute walk to train stations and bus stops, so not too far from any direction. I’d easily stay at Hotel Rings again and highly recommend it.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel! We absolutely wish we had the chance to stay longer. Location seemed ok but getting a taxi is extremely difficult so allow plenty of time if you’re needing to hit times e.g catching a train from Kyoto station. Cleanliness was top of its game. Extremely spotless from lobby to room. Staff brilliant, English speakers better than others. There is a spot next door attached to the hotel, coffee is great and is open to late. Would 100% stay here again also, the bathrooms made me super relaxed, the showers were belting 👏
