Air conditioning in one of the room was not functioning and the power cuts were very frequent due to which watching TV was impossible.

Excellent stay, juat need better view from room.

IKON by Annapoorna exceeded all my expectations. All smaller hotels should aspire to meet IKON's level of service, cleanliness, and design. Whoever designed this hotel should win an award. The rooms themselves are well-appointed and equipped, and the hotel is integrated with the Annapoorna restaurants, making meals easy, affordable, and convenient. The hotel has been designed with the business traveller in mind. There's ample room for luggage, and the corner rooms have seating areas to host guests or family that can be closed off from the main sleeping area. The hotel itself was immaculate. I travel a lot for work, and having travelled to dozens of countries, IKON is in my top 5 for cleanliness, especially since it's not in a tier 1 city. The staff are professional and helpful. I speak English, and they were able to help me book travel and dinner reservations to locations around Coimbatore/Tamil Nadu, and they even negotiated prices down for me. Additionally, the street IKON is on is very safe, several security guards are patrolling, and you can find anything you need either on the street or around the corner. Within a 5 min walk, there is a major gold & jewellery centre, a bank with an ATM, a pharmacy, restaurants, barbers, clothiers, etc. If you're visiting Coimbatore or Tamil Nadu, IKON is a great option.

The only detractions for IKON are... One, the gym is only large enough for one person. It is quite literally a glass box. If you don't use the gym while you travel, this won't bother you. Two, its central location is a blessing and a curse. I outline the blessing in my positive comments, but the curse is that it can take a very long time to get out of the city. While the street IKON is on is very quiet, the traffic in Coimbatore could rival Delhi. So there is a chance that you could be sitting in traffic for a long time. If you time your departure later in the evening, early morning or mid-day, you can avoid most of this.
