Hotel Mondego

The staff at the Hotel Mondego worked very hard to make us feel welcome. We asked for directions, dinner suggestions and tour advice and they always had a ready answer and a smile. Loved the location in Coimbra, as well as our third floor room with a balcony view of the river. We had a wonderful stay!

Super clean, great location, lovely staff! We had a little bit of a sewer smell in the bathroom, but overall not horrible and was gone the next day.

Solid place to stay and good value for money. Staff are nice and efficient. Location is convenient next to the train station and within 5 minute walk to the pedestrian drag. However, rooms overlooking the street can get a little noisy and my room was also next to an elevator that kept pinging late into the night. Firm pillows were not to my taste. Would stay here again.
