The 2 bedroom king cottage in The Grove was quiet, roomy and so comfortable. The property is a gem nestled amongst old growth redwoods and beautiful, lush landscaping. We loved its proximity to the coast especially Goat Rock Beach, and the tranquil and stunning Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve.

Arrived at the restaurant at 7:40 and we’re told multiple times by the host that there is no space and no longer food available only bar food. Eventho the restaurant is open till 8;30 and there were additional spaces. Had to ask couple servicers if they could maybe check with the kitchen or someone. If a kitchen runs out at 7:40 and is not able to accommodate any dishes other than bar food. That is honestly questionable. Especially when people around us were eating. Disappointing service. One server was helpful after getting him to ask for salad in the kitchen, but it should be intuitive from a 4 star hotel to find out what’s possible.. even if they ran out of 1-2 dishes. Food was good.

Way too expensive. Spent on average $500 a night to sleep in a tent.

The location was perfect, a short walk into downtown. The property was just beautiful, very well kept. The cottage was really nice, perfect in fact. The staff from check-in to groundskeeper and cleaning staff were all very sweet and friendly. Very charming property, I will be making plans to stay here in the future!

Excellent hidden gem of a spot. Super family friendly and the property is so beautiful and peaceful. Loved the pool, and private River access. The rooms were tiny but so clean and tastefully done. If you want to explore Guernville, this is a must stay!

Had such an amazing time here- beautiful property with very kind staff. Love that you can have a camp cabin vibe while not feeling like you’re in a camp cabin. Amazing place to go with friends so you’re all on same property and so much to do. The trees are breath taking and it is the type of place that really makes you pause, breath more easily and live in the moment.
