Such a cool place, so glad we booked there. Will definitely recommend to others

We slept in a museum. Had the grand suite which is amazing. I would suggest an armoire and luggage rack as no place to hang clothes. The vault room has no outlets so if you need a c-pap bring a 25 ft extension cord. Unloading and parking is moderately easy. Loved the ambiance and the special touches to ensure a good stay.

Cute kitschy historic property. Comfy. Though grateful for AC, it was the detractor of our stay - unit humming loudly all night. Surrounding area - yikes. Many drugged out people walking around. Duluth has lost itself - sad to see.

The building was very interesting and steeped in so much history and character. The downstairs speak easy had an almost castle vibe with the stonework and ambiance.

The hotel was very unique, well kept and easy to check into. The area around the hotel doesn't feel very safe so for a solo traveler, I may not recommend this.

As my wife would say “this place is a vibe”. Great decorations! Everything was clean and organized.

Unique style of hotel and perfect for a weekend in Duluth.

The property itself was fabulous! We lived our room the bar on the first floor was fun and the rathskeller had great live music the only issue was parking and the area around the hotel was very sketchy

Somewhat "funky" (positive) historic hostel for historic officionados located in original 19th Century Duluth City Hall. Downtown. No Parking so traveler must stay in nearby facilities within a block. No breakfast, tho opportunities are within a block. Would I recommend? Yes! Would I stay again? Yes! But: this extremely interesting habitat is not for the "entitled" luxury traveler. It is "simple." Amenities include Sauna and Fitness/yoga center. Onsite Bar and basement 1920's speakeasy. Neighborhood is typical of "blue state" urban environments, e.g. quite "sketchy" after hours.
