Our Manager Samu and his wife was super excellent loveable and humble and very friendly Samu is an excellent asset to the organisation I always believe it’s the people who make the organisation and the hospitality industry tick

Samuel organisational was superb and he also allowed us for an half hour late check out for our family and hosted us to an authentic Fiji style breakfast which made it the best and most memorable moment in New Zealand

Nothing to like

Uncountable old creaking bunk beds from the 90s. Awful pillows. Stained bedding. Room filled with 50-100 mosquitoes. Dirty floors. Truly awful experience. No reception staff to be found anywhere.

Excellent location, well equipped kitchen, lovely spaces to relax, comfortable bed and super quiet. Only regret was we did not stay longer. We will next time. Great base for Kepler track and exploring Doubtful Sound and the region.

Convenient access to Te Anau and Manapouri downtown

It would be much better if mosquito repellant is sprayed before check-in.

Very nice wee place tucked away in the corner. Lovely walks to the beach and watched the sunset. Room comfortable and clean. Nice shared facilities, had no problems with cooking or showers etc. Friendly staff. Would definitely come again. Definitely be prepared with insect repellent :)

Only thing I disliked is that we didn't stay for more days

Down by the lake. Love sense of nature about it. Henry was great and very accommodating. Lovely sense of community in there. 7 minute walk to the ISite for Doubtful sounds.
