"well maintained private hostel."

Very helpful, friendly team. We had a private 4 bunk "Superior Quad". Spacious room with big bay window and sofa. views to trees and hills. Beautifully quiet and comfortable. There was a TV though we didn't use it. Our own ensuite with bath and shower. Kitchen facilities were good - we cooked dinner and breakfast. Pool table was fun in the lounge. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors for eating. Well located near trails, not far from town centre shops and pubs.

We chose Moffat as our stop off on our way to Edinburgh. Our expectations were blown out of the water ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our king size double room was exquisite in every way. Our room was beautiful ❤️ Every little detail was thought of which made our stay superb. I can confidently say this hostel rivals many of the 4 star hotels we have stayed at. We also recommend popping into town and ordering the traditional Scottish breakfast at Cafe Ariete.

Fantastic Hostel in Moffat with great facilities and friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. We had a twin room on the 2nd floor, so plenty of stairs, but it was perfect. Good safe and private parking. I would recommend to anyone and will return.
