Goldmine Lodge

The price was great, loved the location. We went up to Big Bear just to getaway for the weekend, wanted to take the kids to the zoo which was just right up the street, and it’s also 6 minutes driving away from all the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants. Also very close to the ski resorts. The lodge also had a nice big area in front of the rooms behind the office with a small playground and large seating area for small gatherings and functions. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and professional.

we were able to BBQ on property, very welcoming staff encouraged us to enjoy our stay on property, the room are rustic, clean and gives a Cabin like vibe , me and my family really enjoyed our stay Thank-you looking forward to returning

nothing comes to mind

They don't clean their rooms well. There was something streaming down the wall from the bathroom light switch. The mirror wasn't cleaned. They really need to wipe all of their walls. They do not dust at all. The chair in the room had stains on it. They have carpet, but they may need a better vacuum or it may be time to shampoo the carpet(although it wasn't visibly dirty). The coffee pot wasn't clean. The sad part, is that it's a really nice place, just dirty.

Nice place central to everything , hot water and very cozy !
