Bedrooms downstairs had musty smell

My stay at Kavya Hotel was simply unforgettable. The rooms are huge, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest and many other majestic peaks — it truly feels like waking up in the clouds. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, with fresh, flavorful dishes and plenty of variety each day. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — you can really feel the warmth of Nepali hospitality here. From the hotel, there are many wonderful hiking trails and scenic walks nearby. Every morning, Guruji led an inspiring one-hour yoga session, and in the evening, a deeply calming meditation — both were absolute highlights of my stay. The sunset and sunrise walks were magical, and the numerology session added a truly unique spiritual touch. Kavya Hotel is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to rejuvenate body, mind, and soul. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely loved my stay! The views are breathtaking, and the staff is truly incredible—one of the hotel’s greatest treasures. Breakfasts were delicious and the overall kitchen was consistently good. I was especially impressed by the leisure area. I didn’t try the spa, but it looks very charming. What really stood out were the wellness experiences: the sound-bath meditation with singing bowls and the dedicated meditation hall facing the Himalayas with Gurujii were unforgettable. I also had a numerology session with Gurujii that was both insightful and fascinating.

Our room had an incredible view, but it would benefit from a light refresh. The beautiful wooden floors need a bit more care. I’d also suggest a professional upholstery clean for the sofa. For comfort in the mornings, it would help to add curtains on the second side of the bed (the rail space seems to be planned in the design). The bright sunrise comes through from the open bathroom side, so a curtain or partition—similar to the one used for the living area—would be great to softly separate the bath from the bedroom.

This place was an absolute dream, such a wonderful place to disconnect and relax for a few days. Even though we went out of season and the views/sunrises weren't entirely visible, the setting was still spectacular and highly recommended. The food is great and the rooms are really comfortable, while the wellness offering is great. But the best thing about this place is definitely the staff! They were so friendly, helpful and welcoming, and they made our stay so relaxing, thank you to everyone at Kavya! We will definitely be back.

Perched at an altitude of 2,100 meters, the property offers stunning panoramic views that will remain etched in memory. What truly sets this place apart is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the management and staff, led by the exceptional General Manager, Mr. Sudesh, whose attentiveness and professionalism ensured our stay was flawless. Special thanks also to Mr. Pratham, Mr. Keshv, Mr. Anil, Ms. Rojina, Ms. Maheshwori, and the entire team for their kindness and outstanding service. Kavya Himalayas is more than just a stay — it is a place that touches the soul, mind, and body, offering peace, harmony, and a deep connection with nature.
