I was disappointed to learn that I could not take a hot bath in the copper tub in my room.

The hotel's atmosphere, the bed, and the balcony in the room are super nice. The breakfast was beyond expectations. We were there in early May, hoping to see the mountain with some snow on top. Even if we missed that due to the cloudy weather, we were satisfied with everything and would love to return. Some staff members are very professional, attentive, and very well-trained, but I couldn't understand some of them. There are no significant issues, though. Overall, our experience was very positive. There are also activities included in our package but we didn't use them

The sofa bed in the room is full of stains :(

Great property with good view and amicable staff. The property feels elite and is relaxing. The location is perfect to chill, relax and explore Nagarkot.

Best location. Cozy one bedroom villa. Perfect massage with stone in spa. And amazing morning yoga.

Nothing with property. Just be ready that it’s 2100 km above sea level.

We booked a couples massage which was fantastic and lunch was superb. There is a chef there with serious skills as we couldn't say enough about that meal. The yoga instructor is a guru and interesting to listen to. The view of the Himalayas is spectacular.

We booked for the New Years Eve gala which was an epic failure. All guests were seated outside at night, in single digit temperatures, cold food, cold drinks, wet seats, and after a very short amount of time - a mass exodus of guests back to their rooms (including us). It was a poorly thought through event. Whilst we warmed up in our room and headed back to the event to try to salvage our New Years experience, the event was shut down by 11pm as there were no other guests. It was THAT bad. Our room was also disappointing. Whilst it was quiet and felt very private, over the first few hours, it became apparent the many things broken. No bathroom light, not enough hot water to fill the tub more than 2 inches, no lamp or light in the living area so we had to use iPhone's to change our clothes. Also the safe was broken. Maintenance arrived, walked out with the safe and simply arrived with a new one. In other words, the safe isn't fixed in place....so your valuables, aren't really 'safe'. When checking out, we asked to speak to the manager. We were told she was with guests and we said we would wait. She never showed, but rather sent other employees to 'manage' us as we asked for a refund for the New Years Eve gala. The employees were not empowered to give us a refund for the dinner but rather ran between us, and the manager who was at some location on the property, to try to 'negotiate'.... and eventually we were given the money back for the failed event. The lack of professionalism by the management for what professes to be a five star hotel was shocking. Between the room and massages, food, etc. we spent $760 USD for one night. It was a very expensive mistake.
