Kastren Rooms

We were waiting for 3 hours before they Contacted us for the key of the room. But Excellent location clean and very clean.

It was not far from Athens airport and good for an overnight stay before next day’s flight. The pickup and drop off the next day at the airport was very much appreciated after very long flights. The bed was comfortable, the supermarket quite close. It was very quiet. A good local restaurant up at the town square about 6 minutes walk away.

The upper hook for hanging up the shower head was broken: awkward in the shower without a shower curtain. The owner said it would be fixed soon.

Location is just right in the center of Chania, super easy to walk to anywhere you want. The bed was comfortable, as well a smart TV to watch some Netflix and YouTube in the evening.

There was no hot water for 1 night :(

Kastren Rooms is very central and at the same time quiet location. Also a few minutes from the main bus station of Chania and easily accessible by taxi. Less than a minute's walk away are the best restaurants, local craft shops and tour operators.

There are no elevators, but the rooms are on the first and second floor.

The bathroom needs an update… the shower head is leaking there is no support for the head (was broken) and the ceramic tiles are coming loose, there were some tiles that has came off and were just sitting in the shower and we could have cut our feet… There were no blinds so as soon as the sun is up you can’t sleep. The curtains don’t cut out the sun and there are some missing on a portion of the windows.
