Ashley was an amazing host and the accommodation was great for a weekend in York. The bathroom was lovely with a decent shower, comfortable bed.

Spotless rooms. Excellent shower. Nice little touches like free fruit, biscuits. Plenty of coffee and tea, little fridge with free water, milk etc. Very quiet location.

Great location, nice room, good facilities, lots of local guidance.

Quiet, clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Helpful, thoughtful and communicative host. It was very handy for us to be visiting the Fulford Arms and also a short walk from city centre and some lovely cafes.

Cosy, comfortable accommodation with easy parking. Close to town. All aspects as described in the listing. Great pre arrival info from property owner.

Comfortable room with really good facilities - large ensuite, plenty of towels. No breakfast but microwave, kettle and crockery supplied with prepacked snacks & fresh fruit. Plenty tea & coffee for the stay and tv with fire stick. Room was not large but great for a three night stay. Park & ride bus stop at end of road to access York city centre & local supermarket for regular supplies just down the road.

Great guest house with lots of extra touches like the pastries and mini fridge in the room. Lovely big bathroom with a great shower. It was nice and warm - we were there in January! A 20 minute walk into town plus places to eat close by.

The only thing was the pillows were lumpy and I found it hard to sleep with them. They were feather pillows and so may be just because I'm not used to them. Otherwise all fab!

Breakfast choice appreciated. The room was home from home.

I would have welcomed a comfortable chair as I had to spend two evenings in the room ad eat 2 meals there but I appreciate there might not be room for one.
