The little homely touches rounded of what was an already a fantastic stay. First class accommodation.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like, even the weather played ball

Small, only 3 rooms, but really cosy! Well maintained and breakfast/welcome basket a delight, as was the fridge and microwave. The location was perfect and an easy stroll into town. The welcome blurb from the owner was accurate and showed an intimate knowledge of the area...definitely recommend it!

It was a very comfortable bed with lovely linen. The en-suite was large and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. The owners were friendly and there were many extra touches such as fruit, milk, pastries and yoghurt left for us for free to enjoy.

The stairs to the upper room were very steep for carrying a heavy bag.

It was a lovely walk through the fields (a minutes walk from the front door) to Fulford Golf Club (without clubs) and very close to centre of York.

The facilities and room were good with a lot of practical additions like a fridge, microwave and small table and chairs e.t.c. We thought there might have been a toaster as it was mentioned in the write-up. Having a parking space was really useful and we were able to keep it for most the the day we left.

Unfortunately, during our stay there was a very bad "drain" smell in the bathroom, which wasn't very pleasant.

Convenient location for a pleasant walk to the University (~20 mins to Central Hall). Kettle, microwave and a tiny fridge in the room with a few complimentary biscuits and fruit etc. Parking close by (need to ask for this in advance). Comfortable room and helpful owner.

Our room was beautiful and the en-suite bathroom fantastic. Very well presented and comfortable . Easy parking was a real bonus and excellent location for York University
