The property itself is quite beautiful, very secure and very clean. I didn’t see a single bit of mess anywhere, it smelt very fresh and the air was just perfect. It was in a very good location easily accessible into town. The property owner was nice and friendly enough to let us come in a little earlier than planned. Free hot chocolate which was a bonus for my Mrs.

The room we were staying inside (room 5) was extremely cold, it was so cold to the point where me and my fiance had to cuddle up together for warmth. We would’ve cuddled anyhow but it was so cold to the point where we just couldn’t get up without shivering and jumping back into the bed. There was no windows open or anything like that. The heating was on but it somehow didn’t heat up the entire room, draft comes through the windows which is a bad sign of poorly fitted windows. All night there was another couple at the property who were extremely obnoxious, at 2 am in the morning they were screaming and shouting at eachother, the female was saying to her partner “where’s the effing fags gone? I swear to god if you don’t find them I will kill you” it got to the point where it seemed as if they were gonna scrap eachother and bare in mind, they were doing this for a few hours down the halls which was just disconcerting to say the least, and it carried on throughout the night. Them screaming and shouting at eachother, and I’m also pretty sure they were making babies in the kitchen getting fitted out in a 100 different positions. Also sitting on the toilet was an extremely hard challenge to say the least, so picture this. You’re sat down and to the left of your knee there is a radiator for your towels, the ones that look like bed frames. Every time you moved you would’ve gotten burnt by the pipes. It felt like the floor is lava but on the walls. The duvet on the bed was super skinny, no warmth to provide a pupil the slightest bit. There was a blanket but that didn’t help much.

Car parking, staff brought portable heaters when boiler broke, fridge in room and option of cooking facilities

Main door difficult to open, hard to reach key pad and catch didn't retract enough needing force to open. Slats on blind stuck and couldn't be fully closed - bed could be directly viewed from outside. Bed not very comfy.

I got exactly what I expected for £50 a night

Self catering, big rooms and bathrooms, hot water all furniture good quality, clean and quiet.great location away from pubs etc. Stayed here many times.

Check out time could be later, but its a great price so justified

Bedding could do with replacing both quilt and pillows very thin … mattress not comfortable

It was a great stay but the only thing I would say is it was a bit cold then I thought it would be could do with something like a heater in there for when it drops cold
