Lancasters Cottage

Fantastic B&B, great rural location, beautiful well sized room, lovely service, highly recommend

We were greeted by Sarah and taken to our room. The room was a really nice size and same with the bathroom and shower. All lovely and clean, bed comfortable too. Sarah is really nice and welcoming. The breakfast was great and brought straight to the room. Our room was at the back of the house facing the garden so we had a lovely view of some horses in the field and birds in the garden. We were lucky enough to meet their little dog too, really friendly little girl. We had dinner one night in the pub down the road, we did walk but it can be a bit risky as the road is a 60 mph road with no pavement but not a very busy road.

We really enjoyed our stay but only thing I can comment on is that you can hear guests in the other rooms especially when they shower but not any fault of the owners.

The hosts went above and beyond ..The peace and quiet Very comfy large bed .lovely decor. Nine scenery.Breakfasts where continental with hot egg options with room service faultless presentation and cooking.parking on site.

Nothing to dislike it was a joy to stay there

Wonderful! This was my first, but certainly not last, stay at Lancasters Cottage. I loved the quiet, rural location, the immaculate condition of the property and the generously sized room. The linens and bed were really comfortable and the breakfast, served in the room, was fabulous. Sarah was a perfect host and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

One minor issue, the bed, although definitely not the worst, wasn’t the most comfortable.

Breakfast was lovely and we loved that it was served in privacy of our room. Room was spacious, comfortable and relaxing.

The cottage was brand new. We were the first to stay there. Property clean and well equipped. The owner, Sarah was very helpful.

The Jacuzzi was not as featured on booking com. It was not private and overlooked the car park. There was lots of equipment and sacks and material all around the property which detracted from the experience. The quirky bifold doors on the bathroom and bedroom were hard to close.

Breakfast, Superb, well presented and served in the room.

Everything was high standard, perhaps a grab rail in the shower would be nice.
