La Maison Pondichéry

We were delighted to spend a long time at Maison Pondicherry Hostel, a safe, elegant and rejuvenating place that lived up to our expectations. From start to finish, the team was very available, attentive and particularly adaptable. They are adorable and share all the necessary recommendations. The experience offers a real immersion in the local atmosphere, with an excellent geographical location, close to shops and the beach in particular. Traditional breakfasts are a real plus for this place. All in all, the services provided were of a very high standard. We can only encourage any traveler seeking both comfort and a change of scenery to stop off here, and wish the team all the best for the future.

The rooms are different sizes but have the same tariff.So please make sure the balcony rooms are available since they are spacious and bigger. The kitchen staff are very courteous and go out of the way to make you feel comfortable.The menu is very limited but.

Friendly staffs, cleanliness and wonderful south Indian breakfast . Thanks to managers Mr. Dinesh and Mr.Ajitkumar. they provided whatever needed for Guest including transport. special thanks to homely cooking by 2 kitchen staff Ms. Valli and Ms. Malika. they always greet and smile . Idli, vada and deferent chutneys , water melon juice, omelets, coffee and special dishes of day were homely and tasty. library and spiritual environment are added bonus. Suggest for long-term home kind of stay and easy accessibility to town. heritage feel and architecture are beautiful. walkable to most attractions. this review by my guest Mr.R,Govindarajan

La Maison is one of the perfect budget friendly stay if someone is visiting first time to Pondy. It gives a home feeling. The breakfast they serve is healthy and authentic. And the staff is very friendly. Anything you need is very nearby and the beach and french quarters is just a 2 mins walk from the stay. Definitely recommended.

friendly and helpful staff, good location

The rooms we were given were dark with no natural light. the only window was facing the portico and if we opened the curtain, people could see inside room with no privacy. the room that my parents were staying had no natural light either. the AC started leaking but was quickly fixed.
