Beautiful, well decorated and very clean. Remote staff is quick to respond to inquiries. Excellent location.

Mood lighting is too dark, especially in the bathroom at night time. I felt like I was using oil lamps. The “hotel” felt more like an Airbnb experience and somewhat cold and sterile due to the absence of on-site staff. I knew it was going to be a self check-in property, but still. The common area was empty most of the time. Theoretically something malice could happen to a guest, e.g. solo female traveler, inside the hotel, so there is a bit of a safety issue. The area around is ok during the day, but can feel a bit sketchy at night time.

Wonderful hotel full of history and inspiring stories. There is no physical staffing so it felt a bit impersonal (to us), more like an Airbnb. But a great place.

It was centrally located, near the theater district, and good restaurants and entertainment.

It was quite noisy at times during the night, probably why they provide you with the earplugs on each nightstand. And the room that we had was extremely dark. It could definitely use better lighting and perhaps lighter walls.
