Es un lugar hermoso!! En medio de olivares, el edificio es muy antiguo y muy bien reciclado! Excelente infraestructura, ambiente súper cálido, ideal para el relax de 1 o 2 días!!!

Masseria Santo Scalone is a lovely property in Ostuni. We travel to Puglia regularly and decided to try a new masseria on this trip. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is also fantastic, just a short drive from Ostuni’s old town.

We felt there was a disconnect between the charm of the property and the level of service. For a four-star hotel, it was disappointing that no one offered assistance with our four suitcases upon arrival or departure — something we would expect as a basic standard (and often even experienced with Airbnb hosts). While the reception team was pleasant and welcoming, the rest of the staff generally seemed disengaged, almost as if it was a burden to assist guests. This left us feeling less cared for than at other masserias in the region. Additionally, breakfast was quite limited compared to other stays we’ve had in Puglia. A bit more variety and attention to detail would go a long way in elevating the experience. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and well-located, but the service and hospitality need improvement to match the standard of a Masseria at this price point.

Really good experience! The place is beautiful, you can tell every detail of the decoration has been thought through and everything is very well put together. The breakfast is great and offers a lot of international and typical options. Rooms were spacious, modern yet authentic and we even had a bath in our standard one. We were sad to only be spending one night there and I’d definitely come back for at least a couple nights!

Staff were v helpful and friendly. I can only say good words about them. It was clean. Enjoyable room.

Hard to get to off the local roads. But that is normal for the area. Breakfast was included but we were not told that coffees, drinks, eggs etc were not. The end bill was more than I expected and expensive compared to other masserias in the area.
