Beautiful property

The relaxed atmosphere, the amazing attention to detail, the outstanding service and the views of ocean made our stay absolutely perfect. Our host, Igor, was so kind and welcoming. It just doesn’t get any better than Joy Beach House!

We loved everything

Please come. This will surpass yours expectations. The green spots, the honest bar, the room (ours was Folk), each one is different. We were here in Valentine day. The music surrounding all the property. Don't have T.V., don't need :) The staff is great. Another thing. The restaurant.... 5*, please try anything, the octopus plate and the iron beef (500g, for 2 persons) it's amazing. Very well cooked :) Your gonna feel like you are at home.

First the property is beautifully kept, clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. The views of the ocean from the back deck on the third floor are amazing, and bring “off season” the price was exceptional. I would recommend this location to all of my friends and relatives in fact I’m planning on setting up another trip back asap

Thanks to Igor, his family and team. This is a beautiful place, full of joy and love. Everything is beautifully furnished and designed, a magical atmosphere, a lovely breakfast and a delicious restaurant in a location that also promises a lot of scenic pleasure.

Everything, superb restaurant, staff, rooms, location, breakfast. If you’re traveling North to South or vice versa in Portugal the Joy is a must for a stopping off point. Highly recommend

This is an exceptional place. It is family run and they help to make your stay all you want it to be. Breakfasts are a mix of continental plus bacon and eggs if you wish. You will be full. The town has a laid back atmosphere with nice beaches along with some rocky rugged areas. Worth a visit!
