The beds had no support. My pregnant fiancé could not sleep had to leave at 4am to go home to sleep in a more confortable bed. Toilet seats were old and nasty as was the shower. Was scared to use both. Ended up driving to the gas station just to use the bathroom. Overall i will never stay there again!

The room was in terrible shape. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging out of the wall. The bathroom was dirty it had a half of roll of toilet paper. The floor in the room had not been swept. I use to work in housekeeping and whoever supposedly clean that room should be fired.

Horrible experience room was filthy, smelled like a dog, got bit by flees the second night I was there. Staff was horrible didn’t seem to care, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I woke up covered in bedbug bites, deadbolt on the door didn’t work only a chain had to Bar the door with a chair, door had been kicked in it was filthy hadn’t been cleaned 25.00 cash deposit not mentioned on Expedia cost me an extra five dollars for atm. I don’t need a lecture from the owner about how good his place is versus a higher priced hotel. This motel was disgusting and I will opt to pay a higher price from now on. I think he generally rents to drug addicts and dealers judging from what I heard outside my door. I was scared. Not acceptable and don’t care if he gets mad. That experience cost me 62.00 total 56 and some change for the room and an extra five for the atm. He did give me back my 25.00 deposit. Didn’t bother saying anything about the bedbugs he would have just denied it even though the evidence is all over my body. He seems to think he can just bully women. Not good business.

Nasty property

This motel does NOT even deserve 1 star. I realize it's being renovation but they need to fire whoever is doing the work. Room was so musty smelling; pillows were less than 1/2 inch thick; and I had to pay a $25 CASH DEPOSIT PLUS room cost...????? Why...?? Owner had to check the room before I left to make sure I didn't steal anything or smoke in the room..!!!! I have NEVER heard of this. Plus if you were an early traveler you can kiss your cash goodbye cup NO ONE is in the office.

This place recently changed from a MOTEL 6 to MOTEL 41. (Route 41) We used a booking website and got the room for $50 and I would suggest everyone do that. The room was as we expected - having stayed in a motel 6 once before. So the rooms were typically small with a tiny table and two lonely wooden chairs Typical motel set up with parking outside your room a flashback to the past. NO coffee anywhere. Our room was clean We were on the back side and very quiet There was a BBQ grill (charcoal) for guests Our room had a refrigerator and microwave. MAIN ISSUE - I paid for the room with a credit card. They required a CASH DEPOSIT. Evidently they want to inspect your room before you leave to make sure you left it in good order. I have stayed more than 2,000 room nights in hotels and have NEVER had to provide a cash deposit. AND THEN, I had to remind them to give it back the next morning when I checked out at 5 AM - and BTW they did not inspect my room. Normally I would have just dropped the keys and left, but I wanted my $25 Cash Deposit back Basically bare minimum - so don't pay the posted $99 rate (which would be a rip off.) Bring your instant coffee for the microwave. And cup - the plastic they provide is too small, too thin and would probably melt. For $50 it was good for the 6 hours we spent there. Just make sure they return your cash deposit.

The owner helped us out so much when we got stuck due to car issues he was very understanding. He did everything possible to help us and to guide us in the right direction. I am thankful that we found him so quick

My husband and I were traveling home to VA from Nebraska and stopped here for what we thought would be one night. Everything was wonderful except my husband was exhausted and asked me to book another night. The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Then, once I got home to VA I realized I had lost my drivers license on the trip! I called the front desk and spoke with Paul who had my license and promised to put it in the mail that day. True to his word, I received it today and I am so thankful and grateful!
