Crystal Sands Hikkaduwa

L’hôtel est situé au bord de l'océan avec accès direct à la plage. Description des suites sur le site de l'hôtel. Les 2 chambres avec salle de bain, toilette et douche, par contre les lits un peu petits pour un couple. Chacun sa chambre ! Le rooftop avec une piscine à débordement et un restaurant où nous avons très bien mangé. Menus variés et succulents, bravo le ou les cuisiniers. Le personnel est "encore un petit peu en mode rodage" mais toujours très accueillant et souriant. Rathgama est encore très préservé des touristes. La plage pratiquement déserte. Avec un tuk-tuk vous êtes en 20 minutes à Galle Dutch Fort qui mérite le détour.

Les lits sont confortables pour une personne, mais un peu juste pour un couple. Les matelas "un petit peu dur" selon nous, mais ce jugement est très personnel !!!

Comforatable rooms, good breakfast

Expensive restaurant (5 star hotels in SriLanka are cheaper). No sun beds at pool, no place to seat there. Very limited number of sun beds on the beach (8 double beds - hotel has over 20 rooms where some are occupied by 4-6 persons). Most guest cannot use it.

Quality and size of the apartment, no mosquitoes in the apartment, sea view, lifeguard, great beach and possibility to swim in the sea, beach loungers, quality of the food, very friendly staff

The hotel is away of other tourist venues or shops. You need to take Uber or Pickme to go to Galle or to Hikkaduwa. On the other hand, the beach is good and empty so being away has also its pros. The architecture of the building does not fit local architecture.

The experience was truly memorable. We booked a room with a jacuzzi, which was equipped with modern technology. The jacuzzi was neat, clean, and spacious, adding a special touch to our stay. Breakfast was excellent, featuring authentic Sri Lankan recipes that were fresh and flavorful. The staff were very supportive, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hikkaduwa.

they changed us to inferior room, they did tell us the day before but they did not give us the option of the room we booked. i dont think thats acceptable. its quite isolated. the beach is very rough.
