Cozy Gnome Cottage Annex near Sidmouth

Very cosy cottage. Everything you need and beautifully decorated.

Wi-Fi signal hit and miss. Not a problem for us.

Perfect for a couple with or without a young one for week or weekend retreat, very clean and comfortable. Loved the 4 poster bed and covers, the kitchen had all the gadgets and utensils needed. The fireplace and sofas just added to homely feel. Starlink WiFi (very fancy and quick)

Just watch the driveway, when going in and out. We kept knocking and scraping the bottom of the car, each time we drove in and out (not designed for a Tesla), otherwise nothing to add.

Home from home, fully equipped, clean and comfortable. As in previous reviews Wi-Fi access is a little hit and miss, I struggled but my daughter had good connection for the whole visit!

Poor wifi signal (to whole village)

The cottage was in a quiet location in a small Devonshire hamlet but not too far from the nearest town. About two miles. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. A charming feature was the four poster bed in the Master bedroom. The small garden was also well equipped with a BBQ and Garden Furniture. It was surrounded by a high fence which gave us total privacy. I towed a trailer with a Motorcycle on it down to the cottage and there was ample off road parking space for all three. All in all a really enjoyable stay

Although the cottage had a WiFi signal we couldn't get online at all. We tried rebooting the Modem countless times but with little success. We had to drive to Ottery St Mary, the nearest town, and use the free parking allowance of 3 hours in the large Sainsbury store to get a WiFi signal to talk to friends and family

Good standard of accomodation. Would use this cottage again. Wifi and mobile signal in the area is an issue, but some parts of Devon are like that. It was a good opportunity for the kids to not use technology.

The cottage was absolutely PERFECT! Beautifully decorated, home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Cozy and comfortable. Fabulous shower, comfy beds, beautiful kitchen area, outside space sunny all day Location BEAUTIFUL...and no phone signal YES, total relaxation! A very special place ❤️
