Cozy Gnome Cottage Annex near Sidmouth

Lovely cottage, good facilities for a short weekend stay

Lack of internet… 4G mobile broadband supplied was very poor, added to no signal on our phones I meant we had no internet access most of the time which made it impossible to plan our time

Very quiet and comfortable place.

Poor Wi-Fi but I did know this before arriving.

Really nice break, brilliantly equipped cottage with a nice private garden at back. We were left a cream tea on arrival. Walked to the local pub and had a fantastic meal one night. (Golden Lion). Nice walk into Ottery St Mary the other day, Sidmouth 6mile away which is a lovely town. Would recommend and we will go again.

The property was really comfortable and very well equipped and thought out. Everything you could need was available. The games cupboard was a hit with my children, it was nice to see them put their electronics away. Great location, beautiful scenery and peaceful. The garden was great too, especially the relaxing sound of the river running past the cottage. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely be back to Gnome Cottage. The hosts are lovely, it was really nice to meet Lorraine and Jim. Huge thank you to you both!

The cottage was perfect for me and my partner. So cosy and just what we needed. Beautiful country walls around the river otter too

The wifi was a bit of a hit and miss in the cottage but we weren’t there to go on our phones. Other than that I can’t say a bad thing about it
