The Reserve at Hot Springs

We spent three nights at The Reserve. I can assure you that everything was exactly as described. Quiet well furnished room; beautiful surroundings and antiques through out, a 24 hour pantry, plenty of free parking, secure location, three course breakfast, good communication with staff and a turnkey experience. The entry driveway is a bit tricky, so be patient till you get the hang out of it. Rarely do accomodation live up 100% to their promises but the The Reserve promises and delivers.

Excellent accommodations and service

My wife and I discovered Select Registry properties a year ago, and The Reserve at Hot Springs is the third one we've stayed at for three nights. While the temperatures throughout the region were extremely hot (100+) all week, the Reserve proved to be a perfect getaway. A historic mansion recently restored, in a word, this place is amazing! After being in the same family for over 100 years and in need of renovation, the Reserve has been open as an upscale B&B for about two years after being lovingly restored. The minute you enter the gated property is like stepping back to a golden age in Hot Springs. The exterior property is beautifully landscaped with paths and a pond with a waterfall. Had it been cooler, we would have spent more time outdoors, but an evening stroll was pleasant. The interior of the building is vintage gilded age, full of authentic antiques and first-class reproductions. A wood-paneled living room with a grand piano sets a luxurious theme the moment you walk in the front door. The dining area features a hand-painted, surround mural of exceptional detail and quality that took six months to complete and reproduces the original wallpaper of another era. Speaking of dining, the three-course breakfast included in the rate would be hard to beat anywhere and adds exceptional value to the experience. Each morning was a surprise and delight. There are five beautiful anointed bedrooms upstairs (we stayed in the Buckstaff Room and recommend it), and a sixth off of the living room that was the original owner's. The property has an adjacent house (Legacy House) that we didn't get to see, but it adds five additional bedrooms and the former potting house for gardening has been converted into a cottage suite. Their website has good photos of each. The property is managed by a small, outstanding, hard-working, and dedicated staff. You will be well taken care of. They do a brisk wedding business on weekends during the spring and fall, but we stayed during the slow late-summer season on a Monday through Wednesday, and two of those evenings we had the place to ourselves! We've been very impressed with each of the Select Registry properties we've stayed at and look forward to exploring others. Each one has been an exceptional experience. The Reserve at Hot Springs is truly a unique B&B experience. Spend the money and treat yourself!

This is a beautiful, luxurious property with great amenities. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated! I thought I had booked a room opposite the street side, but alas I did not. My only mild complaint was the observable street noise. The prosecco in the room, the butler’s pantry with numerous treats and the evening treat were truly appreciated. I really loved the opportunity to order some appetizers and not have to go out. Morning coffee delivery was a treat and breakfast was amazing! This is my second visit. I missed Mark and Rhonda, but Chloe was a joy. I’m already planning a return visit.

I had to travel to Hot Springs Arkansas to get my Passport and decided to stay at The Reserve, what a GREAT decision. Mark, Rhonda and everyone else were wonderful and so very helpful. The other reviews about the Breakfast were not lying, probably the best “hotel” breakfast ever!

Our stay was lovely. The Reserve is a beautiful mansion & breakfast was wonderful everyday . The house host Katelyn, Mark & Rhonda were friendly & made us feel at home during our entire stay. We will return in the future.

It was a perfect getaway for us. The owners are such generous and hospitable people who go above and beyond to satisfy your requests and to make your stay there the best possible.

This must be the best place to stay in Hot Springs. Impeccably restored and modernized 1890’s mansion within walking distance to the race track. Best breakfast I’ve ever had, and service to rival any resort I’ve ever visited. Absolutely amazing.
