This was cute and clean and comfortable!
We had little hot water for showers. Our room was not ready when we arrived at the 3:00 check-in time. We were hoping for a discount. There was no trash can in our room.

We stayed here on a Saturday night after biking the local Tour de Pepin bike tour. Beautiful area. Really cute town with walking path along the shoreline from the motel to town, approximately 1 mile walk. We enjoyed walking in for coffee in the morning. Nice dining on the waterfront just across the road at Kelly’s. Accommodations were clean, safe, quiet. Beds were new and very comfortable. I was able to chat with the new owner in the morning and learned that they are planning additional updates to the property in the coming year. They have already redone all of the interiors and replaced the whole parking lot with cement (so nice). They are working on outdoor decking this year and then will redo all exteriors. I love to see places like this get refurbished and stay in existence. Cannon beat the location and lake view.
They were renovating their parking lot and it made it very difficult to get to and from our room having to walk through wet mud and up without steps. Very few outlets in the room. Beds were memory foam mattress which both my sister and I are allergic to which we both ended up with migraines hers so severe she was throwing up all night. Had this been disclosed we would not have booked this hotel.
